Controlled overage policy
- 1Usage is measured monthly against your plan’s transaction limit.
- 2You can exceed your limit by up to 2x before any action is taken. Overage is billed for additional transactions at your tier’s rate.
- 3If you consistently exceed 2x, we’ll automatically upgrade you to the next tier, with no disruption and no blocking.
- 4Traffic is never blocked due to overage. Your AI workloads keep running.
- 5Unused transactions do not roll over between months.
Pricing FAQ
What counts as a transaction?
A transaction is a single API request routed through the AI SpendOps proxy, whether it streams or not. As a rough guide, 100k transactions a month is around 3,300 requests a day.
Do I need a credit card to start?
Creating an account doesn't require a card. When you choose a plan you'll add one through Stripe, but the launch offer bills your first 3 months at £0, and you can cancel before the free period ends without paying anything.
What happens after my 3 free months?
Your plan simply continues at the listed monthly price, invoiced monthly. Nothing changes technically: same keys, same dashboards, no action needed. You can change or cancel your plan at any time before the free period ends.
Can I change or cancel my plan later?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately, and downgrades or cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. Switching or leaving never interrupts your AI traffic.
Will you block my AI traffic if I go over my limit?
No. You can run up to 2x your monthly limit with overage billed at your tier's rate, and if you consistently exceed that we move you to the next tier automatically, with no disruption. Traffic is never blocked because of usage or billing; the only requests ever rejected are ones your own policies disallow, such as models you've blocked or requests missing required dimensions.
Why pay for AI SpendOps when open-source tools are free?

Yes. AI SpendOps is available to customers in the United States and worldwide. US companies can sign up online and pay with a US-issued card, with no US entity or sales call required. Do I keep my own provider API keys?
Yes. AI SpendOps is BYO-key: you keep your own OpenAI, Anthropic and other provider keys, keep using the official SDKs, and can turn the proxy off with a single config change. No lock-in.
