Availability and coverage
Is AI SpendOps available in the United States?
Yes. AI SpendOps is available to customers in the United States. US companies can sign up online, pay by card, and use the platform in full with no US entity, reseller, or sales call required. The AI SpendOps proxy runs on Cloudflare's global edge across 330+ cities, so requests from a US application are handled at the nearest US edge location rather than crossing the Atlantic. AI SpendOps works with every major AI provider used by US teams, including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, and xAI.
Which countries does AI SpendOps serve?
AI SpendOps serves customers worldwide. Our most common markets are the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, India, and the United Arab Emirates. Anyone able to accept our terms and pay by card can use AI SpendOps, with the exception of countries subject to UK, EU, or US sanctions.
Do I need to be in the UK to use AI SpendOps?
No. AI SpendOps is a cloud platform used from anywhere in the world. Although AI SpendOps Ltd is a UK company, there is no requirement for customers to be based in the United Kingdom. The majority of the platform is self-service, so US, European, and Asia-Pacific customers can sign up and be tracking AI spend the same day.
Where is AI SpendOps based?
AI SpendOps is operated by AI SpendOps Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17046015. The company is headquartered in the United Kingdom and serves customers internationally, including across the United States and the European Union.
What language and timezone is support provided in?
AI SpendOps provides support in English by email, and we respond within one business day. Our team is based in the United Kingdom and works to UK hours (GMT in winter, BST in summer), which overlaps with the morning in US Eastern and Central time and the full working day across Europe.
Data protection and compliance
Where is AI SpendOps customer data stored?
AI SpendOps stores customer data in United Kingdom and European Union regions, in Azure SQL with transparent data encryption at rest and logical tenant isolation enforced by row-level security. Storage location is separate from the request path: the AI SpendOps proxy runs on Cloudflare's global edge across 330+ cities, so your traffic is served from the edge location nearest your application, wherever in the world it runs. Usage records are written to UK and EU storage asynchronously after the response has been sent.
Is AI SpendOps GDPR compliant?
Yes. AI SpendOps Ltd operates under UK GDPR and EU GDPR, and offers a Data Processing Addendum that satisfies Article 28. Transfers outside the UK and EEA are covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. The UK Information Commissioner's Office is our lead supervisory authority.
Can US customers sign a DPA with AI SpendOps?
Yes. Any AI SpendOps customer, including customers in the United States, can execute our Data Processing Addendum. US customers frequently use it to evidence GDPR-aligned handling for their own European end users. California residents are also covered by the CCPA supplement in our privacy policy.
Does AI SpendOps store my AI prompts and responses?
AI SpendOps captures token counts, cost, model, latency, and the attribution dimensions you configure. Prompt and completion content is not required for cost tracking. See the AI SpendOps security page for the full detail on what the gateway records.
Pricing and billing
Is VAT charged to customers outside the UK?
AI SpendOps prices exclude VAT. UK customers are charged UK VAT at the prevailing rate. Business customers in the United States and other countries outside the UK are generally not charged UK VAT, as the supply falls outside its scope. Your own local tax treatment depends on your jurisdiction, so check with your accountant.
What payment methods does AI SpendOps accept?
AI SpendOps accepts major credit and debit cards through Stripe, including cards issued in the United States, Canada, the European Union, and Australia. Annual invoicing by bank transfer is available on Enterprise plans.
